Abstract:
To provide an X-ray source achieving stable operation while securing a predetermined X-ray quantity.
The X-ray source includes: an electron source 16 generating an electron beam 15 in a vacuum vessel 11 provided with a transparent target 14; an accelerating electrode 25 accelerating the electron beam 15 extracted by an extraction electrode 21 in the vacuum vessel 11; a lens electrode 29 focusing the electron beam 15 accelerated by the accelerating electrode 25 in the vacuum vessel 11; and a partition wall 38 provided with a through opening 41, through which the electron beam 15 focused by the lens electrode 29 passes, and covering a part of the transparent target 14.
