Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the displacement of an X-ray tube focal point caused by the temperature variation of an X-ray tube. SOLUTION: A driving mechanism 14 moving and controlling an X-ray collimator 5 is provided for the X-ray tube device. The mechanism 14 is constituted of a guide rail 12 fixed to a holding frame 4 and a slide table 11 moving along the guide rail 12, and the collimator 5 is provided at this table 11. X-rays radiated from the X-ray tube 2 at the time of scanning are detected by an X-ray detector for correcting 6 provided in the neighborhood of an X-ray detector 3 to drive and control the mechanism 14 so that the center of X-ray beams, the center of the detector 3, e.g. may coincide with each other based on detection output from this detector 6. Thus, the positional relation of the X-ray beams and the detector 3 is always kept optimal according to the position of the X-ray focal point to obtain a satisfactory picture free from an artifact, a virtual image, etc.
