Abstract:
To provide an X-ray tube and a method for manufacturing an X-ray tube, capable of reducing variation in focal shapes in an anode target by absorbing the influence of the dimensional tolerance of components and rattling during assembly.SOLUTION: An X-ray tube includes: an envelop keeping the inside in a vacuum; an anode target which is provided in the envelop and generates an X-ray due to the collision of thermions; and a cathode electron gun which is provided in the envelop and emits thermions toward the anode target. The X-ray tube further includes: an envelop assembly which has a cylindrical support fixing part made of metal and constitutes the envelop; and a cathode assembly having a support made of metal, the support holding the cathode electronic gun at the tip thereof. The support of the cathode assembly is fixed by welding to the inner peripheral side of the support fixing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
