Title:
X-RAY TUBE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3769029
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To display proper measurement to the maximum by adapting an electron optical device, the geometry of an anode window, and the structure of the window to the minimizing of a distance between the anode and the object to be irradiated of an X-ray analyzer.
CONSTITUTION: In an X-ray tube 1 used for an X-ray analyzer, the geometry of the cone portion 16 of an envelope is selected so that an action, distance between an anode 14 and the object to be irradiated of an X-ray analyzer becomes minimum. Other electron optical element is also selected so as to operate in a state where a distance between the anode 14 and a window 6 becomes minimum. Thereby, the distance between the anode and the object to be irradiated in the X-ray analyzer in made to be minimum so that a sufficient gain can be obtained and proper measurement can be exhibited to the maximum.
