To provide xylanase with excellent high-temperature durability, uses thereof, and a xylanase screening method.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for obtaining xylanase excellent in high temperature durability by screening, the method comprising evaluating for at least one of (a) the predetermined temperature when the xylanase activity when stored at a predetermined temperature for two hours becomes the half of the xylanase activity when stored at 25°C for two hours, or (b) the half-life of xylanase activity when stored at 50°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
