Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Y-shaped stent free from a conventional high risk in a big operation by arranging to position each of two cylindrical stent members, a first section to a branched artery, and a remaining section into a tubular passage of a first stent member. SOLUTION: A first stent member 10 is positioned within the main artery 2, halfway condition members of cylindrical stent members 12a, 14a are positioned within arteries 4, 6 adjacent to a branching section and the first stent member 10. Each of the halfway condition members is formed for extending as a structure for inserting a carrier balloon into a stent original member. A light rigid resin in an inside of the stent original member is hardened, even after a balloon contacts, is removed and fixed thereto as a final shaping as the cylindrical stent members 12a, 14a. In this manner, the first section of the cylindrical stent members 12a, 14a is positioned within the arteries 4, 6, branching respectively, and the remaining section is positioned within the first stent member 10.
