Abstract:

To provide a yarn breakage sensor hardly imparting damage to yarn as compared with a conventional yarn breakage sensor.

This sensor is one for detecting yarn breakage of any yarn 1 when a plurality of yarn 1 are bound and wound as a yarn 1. The number of revolution of a rotating body 6 with each wound yarn 1 is detected before the plurality of yarn 1 are bound and wound as a yarn 1. When the number of revolution of the rotating body 6 of any yarn 1 becomes different from that at a normal winding time, yarn breakage is judged.
