PURPOSE: To make cut end smooth so as not to separate filament and facilitate the following operation by cutting a number of yarns pulled out from a creel stand with an electric heater of a metallic wire stretchingly provided on a U-shaped or bowed frame.

CONSTITUTION: An electric heater 2 of a metallic wire such as Nichrome wire is stretchingly provided through a spring 4 and an electrical insulator 3 between both ends of a string part of a U-shaped or bowed frame to constitute the objective yarn cutter. A caster 5 is attached to the frame 1 and the yarn cutter is traveled between a creel stand and a tenser or guide and brought into contact with plural yarns pulled out from the creel stand to the tenser or guide to heat and cut these yarns.
