Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide roller that is little in rotational variations, possible for a stable high-speed rotation and excellent in maintainability.
SOLUTION: This guide roller is composed of a shaft body 2 loosely fitted in a roller 1 provided with a yarn filament body guide groove 1a, two thrust members 3 and 4 installing each clearance 6 at both sides of this roller 1 and consisting of respective porous bodies set up each, two cover members 9 and 10 surrounding these thrust members 3 and 4, and a sealing member 7 set up in space between the thrust members 3, 4 and the cover members 9 and 10. In this constitution, the shaft body 2, these thrust members 3, 4 and cover members 9 and 10 are integrally locked by a locking screw 11, and then each clearance width of the roller 1 and the thrust members 3 and 4 is made adjustable so as to gradually expand or contract it toward an opening part of the clearance 6 from the shaft body 2.
