Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a winding speed through reduction of the weight of a yarn guide for traverse by providing a support part consisting of a molded product made of resin and a yarn guide part molded integrally with the support part.
SOLUTION: A yarn guide 1 comprises a support 2 being a molded prod, made of resin; and a yarn guide part 3 mad of ceramic. The guide part 3 is embedded in the support part 2 and molded integrally with the support part 2. Size and weight are reduce by narrowing down the shape of the yarn guide part 3 to a function only to guide a yarn. Lowering of a jointing strength due to the decrease of a jointing area occasioned by reduction of size is compensated through integral molding of the yarn guide part 3 and the support part 2. Further, a stepped part formed in the embedding part of the support part 2 forms resistance after integral molding. Further, since resin flows in a hole and is cured, a yarn guide part 3 is prevented from desorption from a support part 2 by a strong yarn tension generated when high speed traverse is effected.
