Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a device and prevent an increase in bent parts of yarn and a lowering of yarn quality by providing a sensor for detecting the fluctuation of traverse fulcrum guides caused by the traverse motion of yarn.
SOLUTION: In cape of filament yarn 1 being in normal traverse motion without yarn breakage by a traverse motion 6, electric signals showing regular fluctuation are generated in a constant cycle, but when any one of filament yarn 1 inserted through traverse fulcrum guides 5 disposed at specified spaces along the longitudinal direction of a fixed frame is cut, a constant electric signal is generated from the traverse fulcrum guide 5 with the filament yarn 1 cut, that is, fluctuation is no longer detected. When a quality monitor 11 judges that fluctuation is not detected for the specified time, all the filament yarn 1 is cut to stop winding by a command from a control device.
