To provide a yarn sag removing device capable of smoothly unreeling yarn by restraining an influence of a tension variation at the upstream side.

The yarn sag removing device has a roller 42. A winding area 60 of winding the yarn in the roller 42 is formed in a tapered shape which becomes small in a diameter toward a downstream side from an upstream side for starting the winding of the yarn. The winding area 60 is constituted of a first tapered part 62 and a second tapered part 63, and constituted so that a tapered angle becomes gentle in two stages of the first tapered part 62 and the second tapered part 63 for progressing to the downstream side, and also constituted so that the area of the first tapered part 62 large in the tapered dangle becomes smaller than the area of the second tapered part 63 small in the tapered angle.
