Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a yarn-shaped material made of a colored super high molecular weight polyethylene, excellent in abrasion resistance and washing resistance and having colored part and a fishing line having multicolored part every specified length.
CONSTITUTION: A yarn-shaped material is obtained by gathering multiple number of filaments made of a super high molecular weight polyethylene in a bundle. A coating layer of a colored composition containing a resin and a pigment is formed on the surface of the obtained yarn-shaped material. The colored composition has a modulus of elasticity of ≤1kg/mm2, a tensile strength of ≥0.2kg/mm2, a tensile elongation at break of ≥150% and a water-absorption coefficient of ≤10%.
