Title:
YARN TAKING-UP APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP60040378
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of the yarn on the face layer part of a package by swinging a cradle by a fluid cylinder operation mechanism and separating a bobbin from a drive roll.

CONSTITUTION: A cradle 3 is installed in swingable ways onto a shaft 2 fixed onto a machine base 2, and a bobbin holder 4 for holding a bobbin 18 is installed in turnable ways onto the arm part of the cradle 3. In the cradle 3, the bobbin 18 is attached onto a drive roll 15 under a prescribed face pressure by a spring built into a boss part 3'. Yarn is wound onto the bobbin 18 and taken-up through the traverse operation by a traverse guide 16. When yarn cut is generated during taking-up operation, a yarn-cut detector 17 operates to switch the passage for the supply of pressurized air into a cylinder 8, and allows a piston rod 9 to protrude, and the cradle 3 is swung around the shaft 2 as fulcrum, and a package 19 is held, separated from the drive roll 15.
