In this device, the tip of a warp is allowed to flow through a warp carrying route 6 toward a reed by the aid of vacuum suction force produced at plural suction parts 7. At this time, the warp is hooked on the warp hooking piece 30 of a delivery check means 20. Subsequently, when the piece 30 is continuously lowered by the action of a linear actuator, concomitantly the warp is also delivered continuously inside the warp carrying route. As a result, a smooth yarn threading through a dropper 9, heald 10 and reed 5 is attained.
