Abstract:
To provide a constitution capable of securing the positional freedom of a bobbin holder during yarn hanging work, in a yarn winder in which a thread guide of yarn fed out of a yarn feed roller is inclined relative to the vertical direction.SOLUTION: A yarn winder 1 has a contact roller 31 and a traverse device 21. The contact roller 31 rotates in contact with a package 92. The traverse device 21 has a traverse guide, an upstream guide rail and a downstream guide rail. The traverse guide traverses yarn 91 in contact with the yarn 91 leading from a yarn feeding roller 100 to the contact roller 31. The upstream guide rail and the downstream guide rail allow the movement of the traverse guide in the winding width direction, and restrict the movement of the traverse guide toward the upstream side or the downstream side of the yarn route. A downstream opposing face of the downstream guide rail, which faces the yarn route, includes a retreat surface that separates from the yarn route when coming nearer to the downstream of the yarn route when viewed in the axial direction of the package 92.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
