Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winding device capable of surely preventing cob-webbing.SOLUTION: A traverse drum 17 provided in an automatic winder rotates in contact with a package 18 so as to rotate the package 18. In the traverse drum 17, a traverse groove 17a is formed to traverse yarn 16 wound around the package 18. A guide cover 60 is provided to cover a part of an outer peripheral surface of the traverse drum 17. The guide cover 60 includes a yarn passage 78 and a small projection section 74a. The yarn passage 78 allows the yarn 16 to pass through the guide cover 60. The small projection section 74a limits passing of the yarn 16 outside the guide cover 60 through the yarn passage 78. The small projection section 74a is disposed nearer an upstream side of a drawing direction of the yarn 16 than the yarn passage 78 when the yarn 16 is pulled out from the package 18 and is located outside the guide cover 60. The small projection section 74a projects in a direction away from the traverse drum 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
