This yarn winding device comprises a yarn thrust guide 30 for thrusting a yarn Y to a bunch winding position outside a traverse range in the axial direction of the bobbin 20 when the yarn Y reaches a full-wound package 21 through an empty bobbin 20b, a yarn fall preventing guide 31 for preventing a fall of the yarn Y from the empty bobbin 20b, from the full-wound package 21, and a yarn holding mechanism 40 for holding the yarn Y thrusted to the bunch winding position by the yarn thrust guide 30 when switching the bobbins. Further, a fixed guide 41 of the yarn holding mechanism 40 is integrally provided with the yarn fall preventing guide 31, and a movable portion 42 of the yarn holding mechanism 40 is integrally provided with the yarn thrust guide 30.
