The winding of a yarn Y is started in a state that a contact roller 35 is set in a first roller position LS which is a winding start position. In a first period P1 where a turret rotation start condition is reached from the winding start of the yarn Y, the contact roller 35 is moved from the first roller position LS to a second roller position L1. In a second period P2 where full winding is reached from the reaching of the turret rotation condition, the contact roller 35 is moved to a third position LF which is a winding end position from the second roller position L1. A distance from the rotary shaft 23 of a turret 21 to the third roller position LF is longer than that from the rotary shaft 23 of the turret 21 to the first roller position LS, and shorter than that from the rotary shaft 23 of the turret 21 to the second roller position L1.
