Abstract:
To suppress a large difference in a twill angle between a center and an end of a package.SOLUTION: The automatic winder includes: a setting unit capable of setting at least an initial value of a reference twill angle and an initial value of an edge twill angle that is different from the reference twill angle, independently of each other; and a control unit. The control unit obtains an edge velocity pattern, which is a velocity pattern of the traverse guide at an edge of the traverse direction based on the edge twill angle, and obtains a central part velocity pattern, which is a velocity pattern of the traverse guide at a central part of the traverse direction based on the information of the edge velocity pattern and the reference twill angle. The control unit controls a traverse drive unit in accordance with the central part speed pattern and the end part velocity pattern. In addition, the control unit performs an interlocking control in which the reference twill angle is changed from the initial value while a winding process is being executed, end twill angle is also increased when the reference twill angle is increased, and the end twill angle is also reduced when the reference twill angle is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
