Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winding machine which can surely capture a thread to prevent mixing of waste thread into a package due to cutting of the thread.SOLUTION: In a winder unit 10, when a needle thread capturing member 26 is located in a capturing area R1, a rotational speed in an anti-winding direction of a package 30 is made different according to the reason of thread 20 cutting. A state of winding a thread end 30a connected to the package 30, on the package 30, and the like become different according to the reason of thread 20 cutting. Consequently, by changing the rotational speed in the anti-winding direction of the package 30 according to the reason of thread 20 cutting, the occurrence of double picking can be prevented and the thread end 30a can be surely captured by the needle thread capturing member 26.
