Abstract:
To help an operator to perform necessary work.SOLUTION: An automatic winder of this invention includes: a yarn feeding part 11; a winding part 13 having a rotation number sensor 45; a yarn splicing mechanism 32 having a yarn splicing device 34, a needle thread capturing guide part 36 and a needle thread sensor 44; an operation button 53; and a unit control part 15. The unit control part 15 executes stop control for stopping the yarn splicing operation when it is determined that the yarn Y (the needle thread Y2) on the winding part 13 side cannot be normally captured by the yarn capturing and guiding part 36 based on the detection result by the needle thread sensor 44 during the yarn splicing operation. When the operation button 53 is operated after the stop control, the unit control part 15 determines whether or not a package P is rotated during the period from executing the stop control to the operation button 53 being operated based on the detection result by the rotation number sensor 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
