Abstract:
The rigidity of a roller supporting member is improved while an apparatus is prevented from being increased in size. A yarn winder 4 includes a bobbin holder 24, a traverse unit 22, a contact roller 25 which is configured to apply a contact pressure to packages P which are formed by winding yarns Y onto bobbins B, and a roller supporting member 26 which rotatably supports the contact roller 25. The roller supporting member 26 includes: arm members 31 which rotatably support at least end portions in the front-rear direction of the contact roller 25 and extend at least radially outward from a radial central portion of the contact roller 25; and a rigidity improving member 32 to which the arm members 31 are fixed at the end portions, the rigidity improving member being provided so as not to overlap the bobbin holder 24 and the traverse unit 22 when viewed in the front-rear direction. When viewed in the front-rear direction, the rigidity improving member 32 has a part which is longer than the arm member 31 in the direction orthogonal to the direction in which the arm member 31 extends.
