Title:
YELLOWING-RESISTANT FIBER USING FAR-INFRARED RADIATION MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002088601
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a yellowing-resistant fiber needing no post processing, etc. for yellowing prevention, having a more excellent degree of yellowing with a lapse of time than that of a pure natural fiber or synthetic fiber.

This yellowing-resistant fiber is obtained by combining a fibrous far-infrared radiation material comprising 5-60 wt.% of alumina, 20-70 wt.% of at least one selected from titanium dioxide, titanium carbide and titanium boride, 20-50 wt.% of at least one selected from zirconia, zirconium carbide and zirconium boride and ≥0.01 wt.% of rare earth metal oxide with a natural fiber or a synthetic fiber. The fibrous far-infrared radiation material is used as a core material and the core material may be covered with the natural fiber or the synthetic fiber or the fibrous far-infrared radiation material and the natural fiber or the synthetic fiber may be doubled to form the yellowing- resistant fiber.
