PURPOSE: To obtain compounds which have an acidic protease inhibiting action of Candida Albicans and which are useful as fungicides, depressors, anti- inflammatory agents, anti-ulcer agents, anti-viral agents etc.

The compounds are obtained by culturing YF-0200R-A and/or B compd. producing strain, such as Spreptomyces-nogalater-YF-0200R strain (Bikoken strain deposit No. 12487) in culture medium under an aerobic condition and isolating the strain from the culture medium.
