Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yo-yo type electronic musical instrument that can be made lighter in weight than hitherto without damaging the rotation performance of the yo-yo and capable of playing music in response to the movement of the yo-yo and capable of increasing a performance effect higher than hitherto and particularly optimum for the performance using the yo-yo.SOLUTION: The yo-yo type electronic musical instrument includes: a yo-yo 12 for incorporating rotation detection means 12a capable of detecting a rotation of the yo-yo 12; wireless transmission means 12b capable of transmitting detection information to the outside by wireless; power feeding means 12c capable of feeding power to the rotation detection means 12a and the wireless transmission means 12b. The yo-yo type electronic musical instrument has wireless reception means 14d capable of receiving detection information transmitted by the wireless transmission means 12c by wireless; MIDI message generation means 14e capable of generating a MIDI message based on the detection information; MIDI corresponding equipment 16 and a speaker 18 capable of outputting a sound based on the MIDI message.
