Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a yogurt emitting complicated and mild smell, by chopping a leaf of lemon grass belonging to perfumery plant into small pieces, extracting with water, alcohol, etc., and adding a prescribed amount of the extract liquid to yogurt.
CONSTITUTION: Leaves of lemon grass belonging to perfumery plant are chopped into small pieces, extracted with water, alcohol, etc., and the extract is concentrated. The concentrated extract is added to yogurt and homogeneously mixed to obtain yogurt having the fragrance of lemon grass. Various effects of the fragrant component extracted from natural plant, such as refreshing effect, activation effect, elimination of mental stress, etc., can be attained by using the yogurt as a food.
