A zen meditation game apparatus includes: a seat board 4 where the zen meditator 1 is seated; the movement detecting means 7 arranged in the seat board 4 so as to detect the movement of the zen meditator 1, based on the deformation of the seat board 4; and a hit means 9 to be operated based on the output signal of the movement detecting means 7. The subtle movement of the zen meditator is detected with high sensitivity, and the hit means 9 gives a stimulation or alarm to the zen meditator according to the detection. Thus, even a player can foster the concentration power and the mental strength even alone, and the high difficulty level for practicing zen is obtained.
