PURPOSE: To measure a zeta potential in a nondestructive manner, effectively and accurately without damaging the performance of an actual product.
CONSTITUTION: The measuring cell is provided with the following: a liquid- reserving tank 1 provided with electrodes 2 used to apply a DC electric field; a transparent electrophoretic cell 3 which is provided with an electrophoretic tank 4 and on which the liquid-reserving tank 1 is mounted; and a double-sided tape 5 which brings the electrophoretic cell 3 into close contact with a pump seal 6 as a product, whose zeta potential is to be measured, and which prevents a measuring liquid inside the electrophoretic tank 4 from being leaked. Thereby, the electrophoretic tank 4 is formed of the plane of the electrophoretic cell and the pump seal 6 and the zeta potential can be measured.
