Abstract:
To provide a zinc-alloy plating method which does not reduce decorativeness and functionality of the object to be zinc-alloy plated.
A metallic material having conductivity is brought into contact with a zinc-alloy plating bath comprising: at least one selected from the oxyacid of phosphorus, the oxoate of phosphorus and their anhydrides; a zinc phosphate film formation assistant; and zinc ions, and the metallic material is subjected to plating treatment so as to form a zinc phosphate-containing zinc-alloy plating film on the surface of the metallic material. This invention can be suitably used for a wire for a steel cord.
