Abstract:
To set a proper charge voltage and achieve a longer life of a battery.SOLUTION: A charge control method for controlling charging of a zinc battery 10 includes a holding step, a measuring step, and a control step. The holding step holds data indicating a relationship between an ambient temperature of the zinc battery 10 and a charging voltage when float-charging the zinc battery 10. The measuring step measures an ambient temperature of the zinc battery 10. The control step controls float-charging of the zinc battery 10. The control step references data on the basis of the measured ambient temperature to identify a value of the charging voltage corresponding to the ambient temperature, and sets the charging voltage when float-charging the zinc battery to the identified value of the charting voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
