Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc oxide ore production method to maintain a high removal rate of halogen in a furnace while inhibiting generation of coating on a rotary kiln for drying/heating, and to be able to produce high-quality zinc oxide ore under high productivity.SOLUTION: A zinc oxide ore production method including a drying/heating step to fire a raw material containing zinc and fluorine with a rotary kiln and make it into zinc oxide ore, makes air at a space velocity of 49 to 60 inclusive defined below flow into the rotary kiln from a discharge end side which discharges the zinc oxide ore.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
