Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc oxide ore production method to maintain a high removal rate of halogen in a furnace while avoiding productivity reduction by inhibiting generation and growth of coating on a rotary kiln for drying/heating, and to be able to produce high-quality zinc oxide ore under high productivity.SOLUTION: In a zinc oxide ore production method including a drying/heating step, an oil burner provided at a discharge end of a rotary kiln and formed roughly in a cylindrical shape has a structure such that, sequentially from the center, a discharge part for discharging oil and spraying air, a whirling flow blowout part for blowing out primary air which is a whirling flow, and a straight flow blowout part for blowing out secondary air which is a straight flow are concentrically formed in that order, and expansion of a flame ejected is optimized by changing the shape of the oil burner in such a manner that an outer surface temperature at a specific position of the rotary kiln can be within a control temperature range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
