The Zn-based plated steel plate for hot press has an outermost layer consisting mainly of Zn, an oxide layer containing, by mass, ≥ 1% Mn, and a plating layer consisting of Zn-based alloy therebelow. As necessary, the oxide can further contain one kind or more of 0.01-60% Al, 0.01-80% Fe, 0.01-10% Cr and 0.01-5% Si. The deposition per single side of the Zn-based alloy plated layer is ≤ 150 g/m2.
