To provide a Zn-coated aluminum tube which is excellent in pitting corrosion resistance, from which a fin hardly peels off and which is suitable for a heat exchanger or the like.
In regard to a Zn-coated aluminum tube 10 used with a fin 20 brazed thereto, a coating amount V1 of Zn on the surface of the Zn-coated aluminum tube 10 whereon the fin 20 is brazed is made 25-35g per 1m2, while a coating amount V2 of the Zn on a surface other than that is made 7-25g per 1m2, and a relation formula (V1-V2)≥5g is made established between V1 and V2. Thereby the coating amount of the Zn is regulated separately for the surface whereon the fin 20 is brazed and the surface other than this, so as to produce a sufficient sacrifice effect and to retard the progress of pitting corrosion. Therefore the tube is excellent in pitting corrosion resistance and the fin hardly peels off therefrom.
