Abstract:
To obtain a zoom lens that is small in size in the whole lens system and has a wide angle of view, a high zoom ratio, a large aperture ratio and high optical performance in the whole zoom range.SOLUTION: The zoom lens comprises, successively disposed from an object side to an image side, a first lens group having a negative refractive power, a second lens group having a positive refractive power, a third lens group having a negative refractive power, and a fourth lens group having a positive refractive power, in which upon zooming, the first lens group is immobile, the second lens group, the third lens group and the fourth lens group move, and an interval between adjoining lens groups varies. The fourth lens group has two or more lenses. A focal distance f2 of the second lens group, a focal distance fw of the whole system at a wide angle end, a moving amount M2 of the second lens group upon zooming from the wide angle end to the telephoto end, and a moving amount M4 of the fourth lens group upon zooming from the wide angle end to the telephoto end are each appropriately set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
