Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens achieving both high magnifications and reductions in size and weight and having excellent optical performance.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side: a first group having positive refractive power that does not move for zooming; at least two or more lens groups that move during zooming; an imaging lens group having positive refractive power that does not move for aperture diaphragms and zooming. The first group is composed of: an eleventh group having negative refractive power; a twelfth group having positive refractive power that moves during focus adjustment; and a thirteenth group having positive refractive power. The thirteenth group includes at least one or more negative lenses and at least two or more positive lenses. The zoom lens appropriately sets: a focal distance fw of the zoom lens at a wide angle end; a focal distance f1 of the first group; a focal distance f11 of the eleventh group; an imaging magnification βr of the imaging lens group; an average value ν13na of Abbe numbers based on a d line of the negative lens; and an average value ν13pa of Abbe numbers based on the d line of the positive lens.
