Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a new zoom lens for projection having a wide angle of view and high performance.SOLUTION: There is provided a zoom lens for projection used in an image display device that projects an image for projection displayed on an image display element on a projection target surface to enlarge and display the image, and having a four-lens-group configuration having first to fourth lens groups G1 to G4 arranged from the enlargement side to the reduction side, where the first lens group G1 has a negative, the second lens group G2 a negative, and the third lens group G3 a positive refractive power, respectively; and the fourth lens group G4 moves to the enlargement side in association with the variation of magnification from the wide angle end to the telephoto end.
