Title:
ZOOM MECHANISM OF ZOOM LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63306410
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a cam member and to abolish the conventional large-sized cam cylinder by providing a driving shaft which is capable of simultaneously transmitting two kinds of powers; axial driving power and rotational driving power.

CONSTITUTION: This zoom mechanism is provided with the driving shaft 15 which is disposed in parallel along the optical axis, a feed groove 15a which is spirally formed on the peripheral face of the driving shaft 15, a gear 16 for driving the cam member, the cam member 18 which is transmitted with the rotation of the driving shaft 15 by the gear 16 for driving the cam member and is thereby rotated, etc. The conventional large-sized cam cylinder bored with plural cam groove holes is abolished and in turn the driving shaft 15 which rotates is provided. One lens group is moved by the rotation of this driving shaft 15; in addition, the other lens group is moved by the cam member 18 to which the rotating force from the driving shaft 15 is transmitted and which is thereby rotationally driven. Zooming is executed in such a manner. The size and cost are thereby reduced and the quantity of the driving power is lessened.
