Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the zoom microphone device of simple constitution which is small in size and has a wide variation range.
CONSTITUTION: An adaptive filter means 24 generates a signal approximating an unnecessary signal component in the output speech signal of a microphone 11 for main input from the speech signal from a microphone 21 for reference input. A composing means 14 reduces or removes the unnecessary signal from the output speech signal of the microphone 11 for main input by using the output signal of the adaptive filter 24. The adaptive filter means 24 is so adjusted as to minimize the output power of the composing means 14. The adaptive filter means 24 can stops the adaptive processing for minimizing the output power of the composing means 14 and sets a coefficient value used by the adaptive filter means 24 to a specific value when the adaptive processing is stopped.
