The zooming optical system includes at least a first lens group G1 to a sixth lens group G6, which are disposed in order from an object side, wherein the system has at least seven cemented lenses (in Fig.1, eight cemented lenses, that is, cemented lenses formed by combinations of the respective lenses: L11, L12; L14, L15; L21, L22; L23, L24; L32-L34; L41, L42; L52, L53; L61, L62; correspond thereto), and among them the second lens group G2 has at least two cemented lenses (in Fig.1, the cemented lenses formed by combinations of the respective lenses: L21, L22; L23, L24 correspond thereto).
