Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture the heat-resistant material which is lightweight and excellent in high temp. strength by preparing a Zr3Al-base material contg. specified ratios of Al and one or more kinds among W, Fe and B and the balance Zr.
CONSTITUTION: A Zr3Al-base material contg., 24 to 26 atom% Al, furthermore contg. one or more kinds among 0.1 to 1.5 atom% W, 0.1 to 2 atom% Fe and 0.01 to 0.5% atom% B and the balance substantial Zr is prepd. In this way, the Zr3Al-base lightweight material useful as engine members for aircraft and gas turbine members can be obtd.
