Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting abnormality of a secondary spring system or the like in which the abnormality can properly be detected even if a traveling speed is changed.SOLUTION: A method for detecting abnormality of a secondary spring system provided between a vehicle body 10 and trucks 20, 30 of a railway vehicle 1 is configured by: extracting a predetermined component of frequency bands B1, B2, B3 being set to be shifted to the high frequency substantially in proportion to a vehicle traveling speed from translational acceleration and rotational direction acceleration of the vehicle body; deciding that it is abnormal when a phase difference between the translational acceleration and the rotational direction acceleration extracted is deviated from a predetermined tolerance, and setting the frequency band to be extracted by making it different from the frequency at which the phase difference is inverted; and making it shift to the low frequency side in a stepwise manner so that the phase difference may exceed the frequency inverted when the traveling speed exceeds a preset extraction frequency change speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
