Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article which can satisfy both a holding function of excretion and a wearing feeling of a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 has an absorbent core 31 and a waist elastic member 55. In a front waist region S1, there are provided a central low contraction region LER1 crossing a width center WC of the absorbent article, and a pair of side contraction regions ER1 adjacent to both outer sides of the central low contraction region LER1 in a width direction W. A contractive force of the central low contraction region LER1 in the width direction W is lower than a contractive force of the side contraction region ER1 in the width direction W. The central low contraction region LER1 has a minimum width MI, and a maximum width MA located outside the minimum width MI in a longitudinal direction L.
