Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time required to extinguish multiple secondary batteries.SOLUTION: A storage device comprises: a container 2 that forms a storage space 7 for storing multiple secondary batteries 3-1 to 3-n; and a duct 21 that sprays an extinguishant into the storage space 7 so that a flow of the extinguishant surrounds a storage area where the secondary batteries 3-1 to 3-n are arranged in the storage space 7. This device 1 can reduce oxygen concentration around the secondary batteries 3-1 to 3-n with high efficiency because the flow of the extinguishant surrounds the secondary batteries 3-1 to 3-n, and can appropriately extinguish the secondary batteries 3-1 to 3-n.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
