Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress such a situation that the sealing state of the case body of a power storage element cannot be maintained in a diameter reduction process.SOLUTION: In a battery 1, a maximum outer diameter H2 of a sealing part 11B is smaller than an outer diameter H1 of the body 11A, over the whole circumference. Consequently, an external force for diameter reduction is not applied to a sealing part 31B, in the diameter reduction process. Such a situation that the sealing state of the case body cannot be maintained in the diameter reduction process can be thereby suppressed, compared with a battery 30. In a battery 1, the body 11A has a blunted shape where the outer diameter is identical over the entire length. Compared with a constitution having a recess in the body, deformation of the case body 11 can be suppressed in the diameter reduction process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
