Abstract:
To provide an active carbon fiber material having excellent performance and usable to various applications.SOLUTION: An active carbon fiber material has an average pore diameter of 1.80 to 2.50 nm, and also has a specific surface area of 1,000 to 1,500 m/g. In addition, as preferable one embodiment, the whole pore volume is 0.10 to 0.80 cm/g. As the other preferable one embodiment, the abundance ratio of the pore volume of ultramicropores with a pore size of 0.7 nm or lower occupied in the pore volume of micropores with a pore size 2.0 nm or lower is 50% or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None
