PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive transfer unit which is devised to restrain an adhesive cartridge from being adversely affected even when conveyance of a sheet to which an adhesive is transferred is interrupted, and to provide a printer.SOLUTION: An adhesive transfer unit having a pair of downstream side conveying rollers 54 and a transfer part W around which an adhesive tape T is wound, comprises: an adhesive cartridge detachably attached in such a manner that the transfer part W is positioned on one surface side of a sheet P which is conveyed; and a transfer roller 52 which is provided on the other surface side of the conveyed sheet P, and holds the sheet P between the transfer roller and the transfer part W when an adhesive S of the adhesive tape T wound around the transfer part W is transferred to one surface P1. The pair of the downstream side conveying rollers 54 conveys a portion of the downstream side from the transfer part W by holding it therebetween, except for both of a portion passing through the transfer part W and a portion after passing through the transfer part W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
