Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of uniforming an exposure amount of a light-receiving sensor for each position on various kinds of conditions.SOLUTION: An image generating apparatus includes: a light-receiving sensor receiving light having passed through a lens; a shutter for blocking the light received by the light-receiving sensor; an exposure start control unit starting exposure by resetting the light-receiving sensor at predetermined exposure start timing; and an image generating unit for generating image data according to a light amount received by the light-receiving sensor in a period from the start of the exposure to the end. The apparatus allows the image generating unit to generate a plurality of pieces of the image data indicating situations in which the shutter blocks the light at different positions, on the basis of light amounts received by part of the plurality of light-receiving elements existing on the light-receiving sensor, and determines the exposure start timing on the basis of the plurality of pieces of the image data.
