PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise while suppressing disorder of medium discharged to a medium discharge part when compared with a case in which a medium bundle discharged to the medium discharge part after a binding process is pressed with a presser member.SOLUTION: A post-process device includes a loading part 1 for processing in which a medium transported from an upper stream side can be loaded, a binding member 8 which performs a binding process with a plurality of media loaded on the loading part 1 for processing, a medium discharge part TH1 in which the medium discharged from the loading part 1 for processing is loaded and which rises/falls according to a loading amount, and a presser member 16 which presses an upper surface of the medium loaded in the medium discharge part TH1. In a case where no binding process is performed, the presser member 16 is made to contact the medium in the medium discharge part TH1, meanwhile, in a case where the binding process is performed, the presser member 16 is separated from the medium discharge part TH1 more than in a case no binding process is made.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
